A BIN lorry caught fire in Great Sankey.
Firefighters were called to a large vehicle fire on Barrow Hall Lane shortly before 4pm yesterday, Friday.
Waste contained in a bin lorry had caught fire.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The waste was emptied out of the lorry to allow firefighters to extinguish the fire using two hose reel jets.”
Two fire engines from Warrington and Penketh dealt with the incident.
