PLANS to extend units at a business park in Bewsey have been turned down.
Developers were looking to extend the business centres on Catherine Street and Lilford Street.
Plans were submitted to Warrington Borough Council for extensions to a number of units on the land.
However they were turned down by planners.
A spokesman said: "The proposed development would give rise to concerns relating to parking, pedestrian and servicing to the detriment of highway and pedestrian safety.
"It has not been demonstrated that adequate and safe vehicle parking, pedestrian access and service access could be provided.
"The proposal would not improve the economic, social and environmental conditions of the area nor does it comply with the development plan and therefore does not comprise sustainable development."
