THE Cross in Lymm will close for a day later this month.
Warrington Borough Council has announced that United Utilities will be carrying out carriageway remedial works on the road on May 12 for one day.
The Cross will be shut from its junction with Rectory Lane to its junction with Lymm Bridge and Lymm Bridge from its junction with The Cross to its junction with Dane Bank Road.
The closure will be in place as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
The alternative route will be via Dane Bank Road, Brookfield Road, Eagle Brow and vice versa.
