A WARRINGTON Pizza Hut is offering a £2 medium pizza deal for one day to help raise money for Warrington Halton Hospital.
From 12pm until 6pm, the Pizza Hut, which is in Great Sankey, will be offering medium Margaretta and Pepperoni pizzas for only £2 on Saturday, May 4.
The event has been created by Sarah Waltho, area manager for Starboard Dining, and Owen Creswell, multi-unit manager.
“The idea was built around the fact we still get customers coming in that didn’t know we’re here,” said Sarah.
“So, the idea was to do a second launch, but tie it in with a partnership with a local charity.”
Warrington Halton Hospital was chosen as the charity for the fundraiser, and 100 per cent of the proceeds will go towards the hospital.
The Pizza Hut, which is one of 28 delivery sites across the midlands and north west, is hoping to make around 500 pizzas in one day and raise £1,000.
“We’re extremely proud to support the local community and contribute to such a great cause and we hope that everyone joins to support us on the day,” said Sarah.
The deal will be available for one day only at the site on Liverpool Road.
“We pride ourselves on getting involved with all local communities and support what is close to everyone’s hearts,” said Nicola Boote, head of operations at Starboard Dining.
