DO you remember the maze in Sankey Valley Park?
The yew maze was a popular attraction near to Bewsey Old Hall in the 1980s and 1990s.
But since then it has become completely overgrown and this is how it now looks.
The hall was home to the Lords of Warrington from the 13th to the 17th century. The Boteler family were Lords of the Manor of Warrington from the time of King Henry III until the Elizabethan age.
The maze once had a statue of Lady Isabella, wife of the 12th Baron. However that was stolen many years ago.
The maze is owned by Urban Splash, the Manchester-based development company which turned the hall into modern day apartments.
