FANS of a hit children’s TV programme can meet lead character Bluey when she visits Gulliver’s World this weekend.

Bluey, an award-winning animated Australian TV series, follows the adventures of a blue heeler puppy and is shown around the world, including on BBC and Disney Channel.

The series has inspired books, video games and a stage show, all featuring Bluey and her family and friends.

The lovable character will be appearing at Gulliver’s World theme park and resort in Old Hall at intervals this weekend only, Saturday and Sunday, with tickets on sale now.

Craig Clews, resort director at Gulliver’s World, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Bluey for her first ever visit to the park.

“She is such a fantastic character loved by children the world over, and we are sure she will be hugely popular with visitors.

“Bluey will only be here for one weekend, however, so fans will not want to miss out.”

Bluey’s special visit comes during Gulliver’s World’s 35th anniversary celebrations.

Visitors coming to see Bluey will be able to enjoy all the usual excitement around the theme park, with more than 50 rides and attractions across six themed areas.

If you wish to extend your stay overnight and enjoy the full weekend, there is an on-site hotel with themed guestrooms – including unicorn, cowboy, and pirate – as well as themed dens, lodges and tipis in the Wilderness Wharf.

Discounted theme park tickets are available for bookings made more than two days in advance.
