A MAN was found dead at his home.
An inquest has opened into the death of 47-year-old Keir Alexander Fleming from Padgate, Warrington.
In 2015 Fleming was jailed for 15 months after admitting to the possession of 2,789 indecent photos of children, distributing indecent images, taking videos, voyeurism and fraud by false representation.
He carried out the offences between 2003 and June 2014, when police conducted a search of his home.
Prosecutor Frances Wilmott said officers examined Fleming’s computer and hard drive and discovered a “disturbing” range of images, including videos he had secretly taken of children and women.
On March 30 of this year, his body was found at his home on Mullion Grove.
His mother had made the discovery after her son failed to attend a pre-arranged appointment with her.
On Wednesday (April 17), senior coroner Jacqueline Devonish formally opened an inquest into his death.
A case review will take place on June 16 ahead of the full inquest on August 29.
