BENTS Garden Centre is hosting a fun run to help raise money for a children’s charity.
The Glazebury garden centre have announced that it will be hosting the fun run for its 2024 charity of the year – Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CRAFT).
Runners will take on a 5K route through Windy Bank Woods, which is at the rear of the garden centre.
Those wishing to take part are being invited to do so in their pyjamas for the event which has been dubbed ‘Jim Jam Jog’.
Suggested donations are £2.50 for children, £4 for adults and £10 for a family of four – which will be donated to CRAFT.
CRAFT, which is based in Millington, provides a variety of free programmes for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children from across the north west.
Runners of all ages and abilities are encouraged to take part – and dogs are welcome too!
The Jim Jam Jog will start at 9.30 on Saturday, April 27 and medals await all participants at the end of the route.
To take part, register all participants here – or donations can be made on the day.
