A COUPLE from Warrington paid homage to their hometown on their wedding day by only using local vendors and locations.
Elle Magee and Ryan Preston, who live in Latchford, first met each other in 2019 at The Hatton Arms in Hatton.
The couple, who both grew up in Warrington, got married on Saturday, March 30 at Warrington Registry Office.
“We wanted to have our wedding in the town that we are proud to call home – and what a day we had,” said Elle.
“The day was about having fun, partying and making memories with those we love most.
“It represented us both perfectly.”
The happy couple celebrated their wedding with a private dinner at The Treasury Private Dining, followed by an evening party in the Terrace Gin and Cigar Bar.
Elle and Ryan were the last to enter the evening party and were greeted by a huge cheer from all of their guests – which they say is one of their favourite memories of the day.
“We would like to think that anybody who meets us would think that we are a perfect match, down to earth and both enjoy a good night out – something we were keen to emulate with our day,” said Elle.
“It was certainly a party!”
Each vendor the couple used for their special day was from Warrington, including Jade Francesca Photography, who Elle said ‘showcased Warrington at its best’.
Elle, who is a teacher at Bridgewater High School in Appleton, had her hair and makeup done by Latchford based stylists at Sean Preston Hair.
The pair had also their flowers and table decorations supplied by Debbie Clayton, a family friend who is also based in Warrington.
Elle and Ryan celebrated their wedding day with 26 friends and family members and 60 guests in the evening.
“Only having 26 people in the daytime was a difficult decision to make but we had to make sure that we were able to have our dream day spending the amount we could afford,” said Elle.
“Our family and friends respected that completely and both sets of parents supported us every step of the way.”
The happy couple are currently enjoying their honeymoon in New York City.
