FOUR nights of live music and comedy will come to a special outdoor arena in Liverpool this summer.
And you could be there.
Once again On the Waterfront comes to Liverpool's iconic Pier Head.
And as well as live music, there will be a special comedy night with Liverpool legend Paul Smith staging his biggest show to date in his home city, taking over Pier Head on Thursday, June 20 for a very special 12,000 capacity open air show for On the Waterfront presents Paul Smith.
It is thought to be the biggest outdoor comedy gig ever staged in the UK.
Recently crowned Liverpool’s Comedian of the Year, he has a million strong social media following.
He is now one of the most sought after comedians in the UK.
Joining him for the packed show of music and entertainment will be some of the UK’s brightest comedy talents and future stars from the Hot Water Comedy roster, with Liverpool’s first open-air comedy festival guaranteed to be an unmissable event full of laughter.
Paul Smith one of four headlinesr to be announced for this summer's On the Waterfront series of shows, and will be its first foray into comedy. Now in its third year, it has become a firm fixture in the festival calendar, with previous performances coming from the likes of Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Jamie Webster, The Coral, James and Camelphat to name a few.
Friday, June 21 will see Ocean Colour Scene and Cast, Saturday, June 21 it will be Ben Hemsley, BLK and Sunday, June 23 will be Deacon Blue.
