A ‘RESTAURANT institution’ which has tantalised the tastebuds of Manchester diners for more than two decades has burst back onto the scene with a bang.
Piccolino Caffé Grande, on Clarence Street, overlooking the city’s iconic town hall, reopens today (March 23) after a top-to-toe refurb, which the team say offers ‘the finest Italian-chic dining in the city’.
The decadent eatery has become something of an institution in the 23 years its been around, and this latest investment is set to strengthen its reputation even further.
With 250 couverts, Piccolino Caffé Grande has earned a reputation for delivering fine Italian cuisine, sourced from specially selected suppliers across Italy, delivered with the charming and welcoming hospitality Italians are renowned for in stunning surroundings.
The refurb include new booths, tables and chairs, stunning floral installations, all exuding pure Italian chic, as well as a renovated statement brass ceiling and decadent laid back bar area.
Diners can watch award-winning chefs perfecting their craft in an open kitchen and savour world-class cocktails, and enjoy unrivalled collection of fine wines, all overlooking the grade one listed Manchester Town Hall.
Andrew Garton, CEO of Piccolino’s parent company, Individual Restaurants, said: “Piccolino Caffé Grande is truly an iconic institution in Manchester’s vibrant hospitality scene and has been the go-to for authentic Italian dining for two decades.
“It’s our intention to be the most sought-after restaurant for the finest Italian cuisine in the most elegant setting with the greatest hospitality for decades to come.
"The latest refurbishment reaffirms our commitment to delivering that.”
"As part of its brand-new loyalty scheme, Club IR guests at Piccolino can enjoy 15 per cent off dining on a Monday and Tuesday, as well as 50 percent off wine and champagne every Wednesday, personalised offers, exceptional service, and money-can’t-buy experiences across three tiers of loyalty."
