PHOENIX Nights star, Dave Spikey, is set to return to Warrington next year with his new tour: Life in a Northern Town.
The 72-year-old comedian will perform his new stand-up show for one night only on March 13, 2025, at Parr Hall.
Dave grew up in Bolton, Greater Manchester, and dreamed of becoming a doctor – but switched careers after 32 years to become a comedian.
After starting in the pathology department of Bolton General Hospital, Dave worked his way up to become a chief biomedical scientist in haematology.
It was while working at the hospital that Dave found his love of performing and comedy, and created a review society with other doctors and technicians.
His new show reflects on his decision to leave his medical career and start his comedy work, including Pheonix Nights, which he co-wrote and starred in with Peter Kay.
Tickets start from £22.50 and can be found here, or for more information call 442345.
