TWO suspects have been charged by police over being equipped with balaclavas and an axe in Warrington.
Jan Kanu and William Osu have been named by the courts after being charged over alleged criminality.
Both Kanu, aged 33 and of Belvidere Road in Liverpool, and Osu, aged 32 and of Hatfield Close in Thatto Heath, St Helens, will appear before the courts.
They are each charged with going equipped for theft of a motor vehicle.
The allegation is that the pair, on November 14 last year in Warrington, had with them an article for use in the course of theft of a motor vehicle.
These articles are namely balaclavas and an axe, in a location which was not their place of abode.
Each were set to make their first appearance in relation to the charges before Warrington Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday.
