BAILIFFS have been called in over an unauthorised traveller camp.
The site in question is Kelvin Close in Birchwood.
A group of travellers arrived and set up camp on the privately-owned land yesterday, Tuesday.
This is according to an unauthorised encampment log for Cheshire and Warrington operated by Chester West and Chester Council.
Three caravans are said to have pitched up in the area, along with associated towing vehicles.
In an update this morning, Wednesday, the encampment log states that the landowner has instructed bailiffs regarding the situation.
