A GIRLGUIDING group is looking for new members – and there is so much to suit a variety of ages.
The Guides in the west of Warrington are raising awareness of the activities available for girls aged four to 18.
Groups meet across the Great Sankey area in a range of ages groups with something to interest everyone.
A spokesperson said: "In Girlguiding, we learn new skills, make new friends, go on adventures, learn about ourselves and others, and most importantly have fun.
"We get messy, learn cooking skills, go on sleepovers and camping trips, and develop team work skills; there's something for everyone."
The 37th Warrington Rainbows, who meet at Bewsey Barns Community Centre in Old Hall are especially keen to explain they are an inclusive group for everyone.
A spokesperson added: "We are an inclusive Rainbows unit who are working hard to try and get more girls with disabilities and additional needs involved in Girlguiding.
"We ourselves don't currently have places but we are trying to get two and three year olds with SEND onto our waiting list so that they can have a place when they are old enough, we are looking at 2025 for places.
"We have experience with a wide range of needs, including visual impairments, hearing impairments, wheelchair users and severe/profound learning disabilities too. We learn our promise in Makaton and we are currently learning a song in Makaton too."
The cost for girls is around £40 per term, paid in September, January and Easter.
