A MAN attended hospital after suffering injuries in a crash.

Emergency services were reported on Waterways, at the roundabout junction with Cromwell Avenue and Canons Road, on Monday afternoon.

An ambulance, two police cars and two police bikes were spotted on the traffic island shortly after 2pm.

Police have confirmed this was following a crash involving a scooter and a car, with the scooter rider attending hospital due to being shook up and sore, and suffering bruising, swelling and grazes.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “At around 2.08pm on Monday, February 19, police were called to reports of a collision in Waterways, Old Hall, Warrington.

“The collision involved an Audi A1 and a motorcycle.

“The driver of the motorcycle, a 20-year-old man, attended hospital as a precaution.”
