A WALK will take place in Warrington town centre on Saturday to mark the anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Warrington's Ukrainian Family Hub is organising the event which starts at Market Gate at 12pm.

There will then be a walk around the town centre for half an hour and ending at the Town Hall with speeches.

A spokesperson said: "We want to show our support to Ukraine and all the families displaced, we have not forgotten and will stand in solidarity with them. 

"We want to show as much support as possible, please join us and spread the word."
