AN unauthorised traveller caravan encampment has been reported in town.
The site of the reported incursion is outside Rutherford House at Birchwood Park.
This is according to an unauthorised encampment log for Cheshire and Warrington run by Cheshire West and Chester Council.
It was reported that one caravan and associated towing vehicle accessed the Warrington Road site on Sunday.
The latest update yesterday, Monday, stated that an officer from Warrington Borough Council was due to attend the location.
This was due to the land being council-owned.
