THREE people have been arrested following a police raid which saw cash and drugs worth a combined £31,000 seized.
At around 11am on Tuesday, officers from Cheshire Police executed a warrant at an address on Alder Lane in Orford.
Two men and one woman, all from the local area, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of heroin.
A number of items were seized following a search of the address, including approximately £20,000 in cash and a large quantity of heroin, with an estimated value of around £11,000.
A 49-year-old man is being held in police custody and is currently being questioned by officers.
A 22-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman have since been released on conditional bail.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “The warrants were conducted as a result of information from the community.
“Intelligence supplied by members of the public is vital, and anyone with any information about suspected drug-related activity in their community to get in touch.”
