Crews tackle 'deliberate' fire involving furniture on street in town centre
CREWS tackled a fire involving furniture on a street in Warrington town centre last night, Monday.
Firefighters were called to the scene on Academy Way at around 8pm.
The fire involved furniture that had been left outside.
They used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
Police were notified of the incident as it was expected to be a deliberate ignition.
One fire engine attended the scene.
