A SUSPECTED drink driver arrested after crashing into a restaurant in Warrington has been released under investigation.
Police were called to Warrington Road in Culcheth at 9.35pm on Friday, February 9 after a silver Jaguar ploughed into Rokka Bar and Grill.
Fortunately, no-one was hurt.
A 31-year-old man from Warrington was arrested at the scene.

The driver was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “There were no reports of any injuries, but the driver of the car was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
“The 31-year-old from Warrington was also arrested on suspicion of drink driving. He has since been released pending further enquiries.”
The crash caused extensive damage to the restaurant which has now re-opened.
