A WOOLSTON florist has been recognised as one of the best in the country.
La Beau Fleurs on Manchester Road has bloomed into a total success since first opening.
And now it has received recognition from the British Florist Association (BFA) who have confirmed its membership with the prestigious organisation.
Rachel Peers, owner of La Beau Fleurs, said: “We’re delighted to be part of the BFA and intend to use this exciting opportunity to further introduce people to our business and show them what it means to be a professional florist.”
The local florist has completed the criteria of membership of the BFA by ensuring that the consumer can rely on La Beau Fleurs to provide ‘excellent service, knowledge of the industry and skills in floristry’.
The BFA is a dedicated organisation that supports the floral industry from root to tip.
They work on projects that benefit the whole industry. The aim is to build a stronger unity within the industry with a powerful voice. BFA’s core values are to have honesty, trust, integrity, and passion at the forefront of all their actions.
The BFA code of conduct sets out the standard that BFA Members have agreed to follow in order to attain the best level of service for their customers.
Nikki Meader, chair of the association said: “Awarding La Beau Fleurs BFA business membership remind us of what fantastic florists we have in the UK.
“The past few months have seen increased pressure on small local businesses and florist shops are not the exception. To have made the effort to complete our criteria and fulfil the required business information is incredible.”
“When consumers see the expertise and professional skills required to run a florist business, we hope it will make them more inclined to use local florist shops and studios,” she added.
La Beau Fleurs can now use the association’s logo with pride on their website. To find out more visit: labeaufleurs.co.uk
