A CASUALTY was rescued from a crash after a car ended up in a ditch this afternoon, Tuesday.
Two fire engines from Warrington and Penketh fire stations attended the scene on Bold Lane, near to the old Burtonwood Brewery site.
After arriving at around 3.30pm, emergency services found that a car that had come off the road and into a ditch in a single-vehicle road traffic collision.
One casualty was rescued and handed over to the care of paramedics.
Firefighters made the vehicle safe and assisted Cheshire Police with managing the congestion around the incident.
