WARRINGTON-based theatre company Soup Productions is returning to the stage later this month with a new, chilling production.
“Smiler” tells the story of a new form of treatment and the effect it has on its creator and the people around her.
This show is an important one for Soup as it deals with the subject of mental health and the dangers of suppressing it, as told through a story that mixes Black Mirror with Tales of the Unexpected.
The cast have brought everything to their roles and have enjoyed delving into such an important topic.
‘Smiler’ follows up on Soup Productions’ return show ‘Little Red’, which saw the group return after an 18-month hiatus to a positive audience, and they have much more to come over the next 12 months.
Soup is also offering the chance for an audience member to win £50 for the Friday and Saturday shows. All they need to do is buy a ticket to the show.
‘Smiler’ takes place at The Pyramid Arts Centre, Warrington on Friday, February 23 and Saturday, February 24, with a 7.30pm start time. Tickets are £12 each and are available now at ticketsource.co.uk/soupproductions.
