A MAN charged with two counts of rape at a Warrington prison has been named by the courts.
Rahmijah Hindes is alleged to have committed two offences of rape while at HM Prison Risley.
The 23-year-old, of no fixed abode, has since been charged with the offences.
Both counts of rape are alleged to have been committed at the Warrington Road custody facility on the same day in December against a fellow inmate.
The defendant made a first appearance before Chester Magistrates’ Court in relation to the charges on Friday.
The case was sent by magistrates to Liverpool Crown Court for a plea trial preparation hearing next month.
Hindes was remanded in custody until this date.
