TWO fire crews attended a blaze started in the bathroom of a home in Warrington.
One fire engine was dispatched from Warrington station and another from Stockton Heath at 12.02am this morning, Friday, following reports of a fire at a property on Sharp Street.
The fire had started in the bathroom of the home on the first floor of the property.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
There was heavy smoke logging so a high-pressure fan was used to clear and ventilate the property as well before it was deemed safe.
A fire investigator looking into the source of the fire concluded the cause to be accidental.
Smoke alarms were activated within the property and the occupier was alerted to the fire.
