A RESIDENTIAL house in Orford can be converted into a HMO.
It comes after plans were approved by Warrington Borough Council’s planning department.
The dwelling in question is number 94 Watkin Street.
An application was submitted to the council for a change of use from a dwelling house to a six-bedroom house of multiple occupancy, or HMO.
The proposal has been drawn up by applicant Parata Properties.
No public consultation was for this type of application, while no responses were submitted by the area’s ward councillors.
In approving the plans, the council said: “The proposed change of use to provide a small HMO would comply with the criteria of permitted development.
“It is therefore recommended that a lawful development certificate for the proposed development is approved.”
