A LARGE police presence was spotted in Appleton over the weekend.
This was due to reports of concerns for the welfare of a man.
Officers were called to Hillside Road at around 10am yesterday, Sunday, in relation to the incident.
Alongside police, ambulance crews also attended the scene.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson has confirmed the man was passed to the care of the local health services.
