IMAGES have been shared that show how mindless littering has impacted one train station in Warrington.
Yesterday morning, Tuesday, one person was heading to Birchwood Train Station, only to find it had been hit by a mindless wave of littering.
Posting in a social media group, one person said: "This is the staircase leading to the back of the train station, towards Woolston, this morning.
"It has now been cleaned, but what a disappointment to see."
Images shared with the Warrington Guardian show the extent of the littering, with what appears to be paper from a till strewn over the station.
A spokesperson from British Transport Police confirmed that they had not been contacted about the incident.
Other reports have come from Birchwood of areas covered by what has been described as 'till roll' in recent days, too.
