A WARRINGTON-based business that has partnered with tech giant Microsoft has taken up residency at Birchwood Park.
Labdesk is a tech firm that was founded in Warrington by Mike Douglass and James Rooney, and it has since partnered with Microsoft.
The company deliver a range of cloud, cyber security and IT services to businesses operating in various sectors, specialising in supporting those working in the nuclear, aerospace and science sectors.
Labdesk has now taken up residency at Birchwood Park, the region's largest out-of-town business spot.
The homegrown tech firm has recently partnered with Microsoft to help their customers get more out of technology, boost productivity and accelerate growth.
According to Birchwood Park: "[Labdesk's] offices are ideal for growing businesses looking to expand their team in the coming year, giving the likes of labdesk the freedom to move quickly to suit the business needs - as they are not immediately tied in with a long lease."
Mike Douglass, Labdesk co-founder said: “Birchwood Park was an obvious choice for relocating one of the company’s key hubs, with its impressive list of businesses providing clean energy and engineering services.
“An added bonus for me is that I live in the local community and spend a lot of time here with my young sons during the weekends, as the park has lots of family-friendly spaces, greenery, and pathways to walk and enjoy.”
Martin O’Rourke, commercial director at Birchwood Park, said: “We are delighted to welcome Labdesk to Birchwood Park.
"Labdesk's new office has been created with flexible working in mind, providing both current and future staff the opportunity to benefit from adaptable working hours.
“Additionally, Labdesk staff can take full advantage of versatile meeting and co-working spaces in the Engine Rooms, ensuring the evolving needs of staff can be consistently met."
Linda Welsby, leasing manager at Birchwood Park added: “We’re delighted to welcome labdesk.
"It’s clear that north west businesses are looking forward with positivity, given the influx of enquiries we’ve experienced on the park, but being able to offer flexibility and various on-site services is what helps ease the move and encourage businesses, like Labdesk, to move to Birchwood Park.
"We look forward to supporting them here with their continuous growth.”
