CHESHIRE Police has confirmed that a cyclist was hit by a car in Fearnhead last night, Wednesday.
Following reports made of a closed road in Fearnhead, a member of Cheshire Police's communications team has confirmed that the busy road, Crab Lane, was closed for one hour on Wednesday, January 10.
According to posts on social media, police officers closed the stretch of road from Crab Lane to the nearby expressway.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told the Warrington Guardian: "Shortly after 5.30pm on Wednesday, January 10, police were called to reports of a collision on Crab Lane, Warrington.
"Officers attended and found that there had been a collision between a blue Seat Leon and a cyclist, a 20-year-old man.
"Paramedics attended the scene, but there were no reports of any serious injuries.
"The road reopened at 6.20pm."
