A WARRINGTON resident met an actor on the streets of Orford yesterday morning, Tuesday.
It comes as TV crews took over the town for a new series of the much-loved Sky One comedy, Brassic.
Orford resident Molly Whitty came across Joe Gilgun near to Smith Drive.
She managed to flag him down for a few pictures.
As well as his role in Brassic, Joe is also known for being in Hollyoaks, Misfits, and This Is England.
Molly said: “He was exactly how he acts in Brassic.
“He was brilliant with everyone.
“It was so good seeing Sky and the whole team filming right on our doorstep.”
Starring alongside Joe is Michelle Keegan. She is no stranger to filming in Warrington, having spent some time down the road at Arley Hall for the Netflix series Fool Me Once which hit television screens earlier this month.
A number of Orford residents, namely those on Tomlinson Avenue, were notified by Sky via letter about the filming taking place on Tuesday.
They were told they may notice a presence of the film crew around the area between the times of 10.30am and 2.30pm.
