FILMING of a hit Sky One comedy series is rumoured to have taken place in a popular park in Warrington.
Film crews were spotted by locals in Orford Park today, Monday.
In what appeared to be a live set, with a sign stating ‘B6 LOC 2’, it is rumoured that filming was taking place for a new serious of Brassic – a British comedy series based in a northern town.
The show is set in a town called Hawley, based on the real town of Chorley in Lancashire.
With a cast full of familiar faces including Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan.
Camera men, boom mics and a crowd of people could be seen on the Orford Park during what appeared to be a film set.
Much of the filming of Brassic in previous seasons has been done in Manchester and around Lancashire – with some scenes filmed near Arley Hall near Appleton Thorn.
Michelle Keegan is no stranger to Warrington having filmed both Ordinary Lies and a Bobby Moore drama in the town.
It is yet to be confirmed by Sky if their crews were filming in this Warrington location for the comedy’s latest series – but its exciting to see a film crew in the area either way.
