DOES this street have the best Christmas lights in Warrington?
The residents on Thetford Road come together each year to add more and more lights to the display which stretches along the entire street.
Many of the houses are lit up with festive sparkle and reindeer sit proudly in front gardens.
Some houses have blow-up snowmen and penguins.
While others have stars and lights that create the effect of icicles hanging off the roof.
The whole vision is tied together with strings of lights that are joined on houses on one side of the street to the houses adjacent on the other side.
Sankey resident on the street Keiron Richardson said: “Neighbours seem to keep adding to them.
“The ones across the road are mine and another, neighbours usually, but others got involved this year.”
It’s not a hard street to spot so if you fancy looking at some incredibly festive Christmas lights, take a drive to Great Sankey.
