CHRISTMAS is a celebration for the pups too at a primary school in Orford.
The dinner ladies at St Ann’s CE treated the school’s resident therapy dog to a slap-up Christmas roast.
Monty, a Kids Around Dogs approved therapy pup, visits and regularly works with children who attend the school – assisted by his handler Wendy Skilling.
On Monday, the staff and pupils all dressed up in Christmas jumpers, along with Monty, and enjoyed a delicious festive dinner with all the trimmings.
To the delight of little Monty, a King Charles Spaniel, there was a bowl with his name on it.
A spokesperson for the school said: “Monty, our school dog was delighted to be able to enjoy his own portion of turkey, mashed potato and veg, along with a special doggy cracker.”
