HELP is available for those who may be isolated, lonely, homeless, or hungry over Christmas.
Warrington Open Doors at Christmas (WODAC) is returning for another year.
The organisation, which was founded in 1991, offers hot meals, refreshments, and friendship as well as warm clothing and a food parcel service over the festive period.
It is open for eight days from Christmas Day until New Year’s Day at St John’s Church on Wilderspool Causeway.
Last year, the organisation helped 496 people and transported 218 attendees to and from the venue.
It also delivered 158 food parcels.
Patrick, who attended last year, said: “I got a haircut, a new coat, sang to, played bingo, and ate like a king.
“A big thank you to all the volunteers at WODAC who looked after me so well.”
Beth, a food parcel recipient, added: “I am a single mum with three kids.
“With electric costs so high, I was having to choose whether to heat my home or skip meals.
“Thank you WODAC for the food parcel which you delivered to me and helped us so much over the Christmas period.”
