THE happiest places to live in the UK have been revealed, here’s how Warrington ranked.
Each year, Rightmove asks thousands of people across Great Britain how they feel about where they live.
This year’s Happy at Home study was completed by more than 26,000 residents.
So, how happy a place is Warrington to live?
It was ranked 140th nationally in a list of 218 places.
Meanwhile, regionally, it came 13th in a list of 25 different places in the north west.
Coming out on top was the borough of Richmond Upon Thames in London. The city of Winchester in Hampshire was ranked second while Monmouth in Wales was named the third happiest place to live.
Rightmove found that the results of this year’s study showed that the important contributors to happiness were feeling a sense of pride, belonging, and community.
Access to green space and nature is also important to residents, the study found, with those living in a rural area near a park or an area of outstanding natural beauty more likely to feel happy where they live.
