TOMORROW’S Makers Market is cancelled due to unprecedented weather conditions.
The event was due to take place on Time Square tomorrow, Saturday.
But organisers have decided to cancel the event for everyone’s safety after the latest weather warning for the town.
However, Sunday’s Christmas-themed Markers Market will still be going ahead.
A Facebook post on the Warrington Market page reads: “Unfortunately, Mother Nature has decided to throw us a curveball.
“Due to the unpredictable weather conditions, we regret to inform you that tomorrow's Makers Market has been cancelled for everyone's safety.
“But fear not, Sunday will see the return of the Xmas special Makers Market, see you there.”
Sunday’s event has been described as a ‘winter wonderland’ of artisan stalls, delightful treats, and holiday cheer.
It is the perfect way to embrace the spirit of the season, say organisers.
Tomorrow’s cancellation comes after The Met Office issued a weather warning for Saturday which will come into effect at 9am and remain in place until 11.45pm.
Forecasters say some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely, as well as delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges.
Some short-term loss of power and other services is possible, while coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities will be affected by spray and large waves.
