A MAGICAL Christmas wonderland will open to families in a historic house in Cheshire.
Arley Hall, near Appleton Thorn, is being transformed into a festive theatrical venue of dreams as the all-time adult and children’s favourite, The Nutcracker, is brought to life.
You are invited to step into a world where magic reigns supreme with a series of live performances which are guaranteed to remain in your hearts throughout the Christmas season.
Visitors will be taken on a journey through five stunning rooms where they will get to join Clara and the Nutcracker Prince on their Christmas journey – helping them to defeat the evil Mouse King.
And along the way everyone will experience snow, sweets, adventure and immersive theatre. Visitors will even have the opportunity to learn how to dance with the Sugar Plum Fairy herself, visit the Wishing Tree and receive a gift from Santa!
Along the 45-minute trip, visitors will be swept up in a live theatre adventure – full of the twinkling and colourful Christmas lights.
Julia Benfield, Founder at Sneaky Experiences, which is bringing the Nutcracker story to Cheshire, said: “This promises to be a truly memorable experience for everyone who visits. There really is something for all ages at our captivating Nutcracker story.
“Every room is dressed exquisitely, and our performers promise to immerse everyone in a winter wonderland of singing, dancing and live theatre. Every stage will be a photo opportunity!”
The event runs from December 20th to the 24th with timed entries.
Quiet performances are also part of the schedule and will take place on December 24th at 9.30am.
