POLICE were called to a crash as a result of the icy conditions this morning, Wednesday.
Officers attended the incident at 8.30am on Greenfields Avenue in Appleton.
The crash involved a Volkswagen ID 3 and a Toyota Yaris.
There were no reports of any serious injuries.
Hatton, Stretton, and Walton Police have advised both drivers and pedestrians to take extra care in the slippery conditions today.
A Facebook post from the force reads: “I have just attended a road traffic collision involving two vehicles that collided at low speed due to the ice, thankfully all parties are okay.
“There are still cars driving like the roads are clear and then skidding when the drivers brake, please slow down and remember your braking distance is greater than normal.”
