STUDENTS from a popular Warrington dance school hit all the right notes at a competition.

Youngsters from Kate Simmons Dance Junior and Senior Graduate classes entered the Cecchetti Mabel Ryan Ballet Competition. Organised by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), this prestigious event showcased the talent and dedication of budding dancers.

Fourteen students participated in across the Junior, Middle and Sections in the event which attracted participants from dance schools across the country.

All 14 participants from Kate Simmons Dance received a Certificate of Participation, however, the achievements of seven students surpassed mere participation, earning them commendations and awards in recognition of their exceptional performances.

The winning participants and their respective awards are as follows:

• Emmeline Oberg: Commendation in the Junior Section.

• Millie Frazer: Commendation in the Junior Section

• Tilly Wylie: Junior Vacani Performance Award Winner

• Maddison Coleman: Junior Mabel Ryan Medal Winner

• Amelia Frackowiak: Commendation in the Middle Section

• Brooke Elsley: Senior Vacani Performance Award Winner

• Ruby Webster: Senior Mabel Ryan Medal Runner Up

A spokesman said: "The remarkable success of Kate Simmons Dance students at the Cecchetti Mabel Ryan Competition reflects not only their individual talent but also the dedication and expertise of their instructors.

"Miss Tracey Moss, Ms Kate Simmons, and Amanda Didsbury have played a crucial role in nurturing these dancers, providing them with the guidance and training needed to excel on such a prestigious platform.

Kate Simmons Dance is based in Woolston and has been providing dance classes for all levels where children can enjoy quality training from qualified teachers.
