IT has been a special year for Grappenhall Women’s Institute.
At the beginning of 2023, members celebrated the group’s centenary year.
But celebrations weren’t quite over here.
As we near the end of the year, the group has celebrated the centenary one final time.
It commissioned a bench for the local park, meaning there is a new place for residents to sit and relax and take in the green space.
The group has since been to visit the newly installed bench – not even the rain could keep them away.
