WORK will start on a major road for three days in the new year.
Driving will be banned on Orford Road (southeast bound) from its junction with Birchwood Way to its junction with Padgate Lane.
Order will be effective from January 16 for three days, between 9.30am and 3.30pm, as and when signed on site.
Access will be under the control of the relevant contractor for the duration of the works.
The alternative route will be via Birchwood Way, Woolston Grange Avenue and Manchester Road.
The closure is required to allow Warrington Borough Council to carry out tree maintenance works.
