A DRIVER has been taken to hospital after a four-vehicle crash at a crossroads on the A49.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Tarporley Road, near the Applegreen Whitley petrol station at 12.55pm this afternoon (November 30).
Three cars and a van were involved in the collision, with firefighters attending to make the vehicles safe.
One driver was taken to hospital as a precaution.
A Cheshire Police spokeswoman said: "At 12.55pm on Thursday, November 30, police were called to a four-vehicle collision in Tarporley Road, Whitley.
"The collision involved three cars and a van. One driver was assessed by paramedics and taken to hospital as a precaution."
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman confirmed crews from Northwich and Lymm were dispatched to the crash.
He added: "Firefighters arrived on scene to make the vehicles safe and assist with casualties until the ambulance service arrived."
