IN just a few days, four of the cooling towers at Fiddler’s Ferry will be no more.
On Sunday, December 3, the blowdown will take place.
It is expected to happen between 8am and 12pm and is dependent on a number of factors, including the weather.
The whole event will take just 10 seconds and will be just two bangs half a second apart.
The two explosions will only last one second.
