DRIVERS are being warned of disruption and possible delays after a crash on the M62 near Warrington.
One lane is closed on the westbound carriageway between junction 12, for the M60 and M602, and junction 11, for Warrington East, Birchwood, after the collision earlier this evening (November 25).
An eyewitness said congestion is building as far back as junction 11, but traffic is still moving slowly, adding it’s still possible to exit at junction 11, for Warrington East, Birchwood.
A spokesman for National Highways: Northwest said: “The event is currently active, but is expected to be cleared between 9.30pm and 9.45pm.
“Normal road conditions should return soon after.”
