BIZZARE but cute critters have been put up for sale by a Warrington exotic animal shop.
Warrington Pets and Exotics on Lovely Lane have posted about a pair of ‘Male Sugar Gliders’ available for sale.
The tiny creature is described by an animal hospital as a ‘great pet’. The article says: “They are lively, inquisitive, playful, and intelligent.
“Socialized sugar gliders enjoy cuddling and often will curl up in the safety of a shirt pocket.
“If given lots of attention, they will bond with their owners."
They do mention providing warnings, saying: “Sugar gliders are not easily handled by strangers and often bite, vocalize, and/or urinate if forcibly restrained.
“They can become agitated if disturbed when resting during the day.
“Sugar gliders can be nippy; use plenty of caution if you have small children.”
The critters are available with ‘full set-ups available, hammocks, supplements, and knowledgeable staff to assist’.
Potential buyers have been told to do a large amount of research before purchasing the animals.
Warrington Pets and Exotics sell more than just Sugar Gliders, however, having recently posted a trio of Pythons available for sale, as well as a Chameleon a few days ago.
The Sugar Gliders are available to purchase now, with deposits available to be taken.
