A ‘CHARMING’ dog who was starved in his previous home is looking for a second chance.
Charlie is a Husky crossed with a Boxer and is approximately four years old.
He is currently being cared for at the RSPCA’s Warrington, Halton, and St Helens branch on Slutchers Lane.
The pooch was originally handed over to the RSPCA in Altrincham as his previous owner had too many dogs in their home.
Something had to give, and sadly that was Charlie.
Charlie, who enjoys being groomed, is described as an easygoing dog and is well-behaved at the vets.
He enjoys sniffing around in new places, and enjoys fuss from humans.
Charlie doesn’t mind traffic, ignores cats when out on walks, and is good on the lead.
He also enjoys meeting other dogs on walks, but he cannot live with them as he had to compete for food in his previous home.
A quieter home with just adults, perhaps retired or semi-retired, would be ideal for Charlie.
Staff say the only thing that adopters need to be aware of is that he likes to be left alone when eating as he was previously starved.
