A MAN has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash near Birchwood Way.
The incident took place today, Friday, at 11.45am near the roundabout between Blackbrook Avenue and Birchwood Way.
Emergency services closed a road in the area when attending the scene.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At around 11.45am on Friday, November 17, police were called to reports of a collision near the roundabout between Blackbrook Avenue and Birchwood Way, Warrington.
"Officers attended the scene and found the collision involved a car and a motorbike.
"The male rider of the motorbike was taken to hospital with a serious leg injury.
"Road closures were in place while the incident was dealt with."
North West Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment on the incident.
