POLICE have launched an arson investigation over a fire in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday.
One fire engine from Warrington Fire Station attended Old Alder Lane near Burtonwood at around 12.45am.
This came after the crew received reports of a vehicle on fire.
On arrival at the scene, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus put out the using a hose reel jet.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescuer Service said: “The car was suspected to have been abandoned. The incident was handed over to the police.”
